In addition to his immediate family, he leaves behind many friends and colleagues around the world.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Torbj\u00f6rn had a long and productive academic career, authoring or co-authoring an extensive body of research on the relationship between constitutional rules and the processes of government formation and governance. During his career, he founded the database that preceded REPDEM, published several important scholarly books, and wrote numerous influential articles in the field of coalition research.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We have lost a remarkable and generous person whose warmth and charm touched all who knew him.
