H-CAB 2.0: Governments in Europe 1919-1958 (release February 2025)
The Historical Cabinets (H-CAB) dataset 2.0 is a historical extension of (some of) the data on governments available at REPDEM and covers cabinets formed between 1919 and 1958 in 20 European countries (Austria, Belgium, Czechoslovakia, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Iceland, Ireland, Latvia, Lithuania, Netherland, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Spain, Sweden, and United Kingdom). The H-CAB dataset provides data on dates of cabinet formation and dissolution, along with data on the cabinet party composition, allowing for analysis of cabinet formation and duration during the interwar period.
