New data release (February 2026)

This release updates the dataset to 31 December 2025, incorporating terminations, new cabinets, the addition of a new variable, and corrections to previously identified coding errors. All changes are documented in detail in the change log. Below is a short summary:

• New governments formed between mid-September and December have been coded.
• Government terminations occurring from mid-September through February 2026 have been coded.
